    Membership Application

  Any Justice of the Peace for South Australia is eligible to apply as an ordinary member of the Association.

The Association provides support to its members in the performance of their duties within the community by:
     • disseminating educational information;
     • providing ongoing training and development;
     • creating opportunities for social exchange and networking; and
     • ensuring efficient management of the Association’s assets and office.

By joining, you will receive a copy of "The Honorary Magistrate" magazine, issued quarterly, containing comment on current issues and providing procedural updates to assist you in the performance of your duties.  Local Group meetings can also offer you personal contact with other community minded Justices of the Peace in your area.

To apply for membership an application form needs to be lodged with the Association along with payment of the joining fee and annual ordinary subscription fee.

The subscription year commences on the first day of September each year.  Members joining after the first day of June, do not pay any subscription for the remainder of the current year but will pay the annual subscription for the following year together with the joining fee.
